E’ morto. Anzi no.
Wikipedia ha stilato una interessante lista di “premature obituaries“. In sostanza, notizie di decessi che non sono mai avvenuti. L’unico ad essere oggetto di tre comunicazioni errate da parte dei media è stato Giovanni Paolo II:

Immediately after the 1981 attempt on his life, despite heightened caution due to CBS’s embarrassing premature obituary of James Brady only weeks earlier, CNN implied the Pope had died by repeatedly referring to him in the past tense.
In 2003, by CNN again, this time in the CNN.com incident. The draft obituary, which had used the Queen Mother’s as a template, noted the Pope’s ‘love of racing’.
On the eve of his actual death on 1 April 2005, Fox News claimed he had died after it received incorrect reports from the Italian media that his ECG had gone flat.

Come se non bastasse la pagina “recession” del Telegraph, con la mappa dei licenziamenti e le notizie a tema, un nuovo sito tiene traccia dei lavori persi, in America. “Lay Off Daily” non è altro che un aggregatore di notizie, tratte dalla stampa locale e nazionale.
E da noi, quando si inizieranno a contare i morti?
